# HPEC | CANADA

First Regional Ambassadors of HPEC & Affiliate Partners of HYPC.

**HPEC Canada** is one of the most advanced regional implementations of the **HPEC DAO** model ; **Also Affiliate partners of HyperCycle .**

It combines:

* Large-scale HyperCycle Node Factory activation
* DAO-aligned governance
* Formal legal structure

This makes HPEC Canada a **reference implementation** for how HPEC DAO expands responsibly across jurisdictions.

***

#### 📊 Infrastructure Activation (Canada)

| Metric                   | Status                    |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------- |
| Node Factories Activated | **600+**                  |
| Activation Start         | 2024                      |
| Infrastructure Type | HyperCycle Node Factories |
| Governance Alignment     | HPEC DAO                  |
| Operating Region         | Canada                    |

These Node Factories were activated under regional coordination while remaining fully aligned with **HPEC DAO principles**.

***

#### 🏛 Legal & Organizational Formation

In **2024**, HPEC Canada:

* Activated a **legal entity**
* Established a regional operational structure
* Enabled compliant expansion inside Canada
* Prepared for institutional and enterprise engagement

This allows HPEC Canada to:

* Operate infrastructure at scale
* Support regional node operators
* Engage partners under clear legal frameworks
* Bridge DAO governance with real-world execution

***

#### 🌍 Role Inside HPEC DAO

HPEC Canada contributes to the global HPEC ecosystem by:

* Providing **significant decentralized compute capacity**
* Acting as a **regional anchor DAO**
* Supporting cross-DAO coordination
* Validating the DAO + legal hybrid model

HPEC Canada demonstrates that decentralized infrastructure can scale **without sacrificing governance or compliance**.

#### 🔁 Relationship to Active Ambassadors

| Active Ambassadors                  | HPEC Canada                     |
| ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------- |
| Individual & small-group activation | Regional-scale coordination     |
| Multi-country grassroots growth     | Jurisdiction-specific execution |
| Node-by-node expansion              | High-volume deployment          |
| Informal coordination | Formal legal structure |

Both models are **complementary** and essential to HPEC DAO’s long-term growth.

***

#### 🚀 Why This Matters

HPEC Canada proves that HPEC DAO:

* Operates beyond theory
* Supports regional execution
* Scales to hundreds of Node Factories
* Can coexist with legal entities without centralization

This is **live infrastructure**, not a roadmap.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hyper-performance-edge-computing.gitbook.io/hyper-performance-edge-computing-hpec-dao-docs/documentation/basics-execution-layer/integrations/economic-framework/regional-dao-framework/hpec-or-canada.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
